Build useful things. Keep people safe.
Licuse is an AI-assisted development workspace. This policy applies to our accounts, hosted services and Licuse-specific features, including prompts, outputs and tool actions. Do not use them to plan, facilitate, automate or conceal the prohibited activities below, or help another person do so.
Our service rules do not revoke the permissions of independent open-source software licences. Possession of a local code editor does not imply permission to use our accounts or AI services for prohibited purposes.
Weapons, missiles and physical harm
Use for the development, design, manufacture, acquisition, targeting, guidance, deployment or operational improvement of missiles, weapons, explosives or weaponized systems is strictly prohibited. This includes nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, components intended for those purposes, and software that materially enables them.
Do not plan or support terrorism, violent crime, torture, trafficking, assassination or attacks on people or civilian infrastructure. Do not generate operational instructions intended to injure people, damage property or evade safeguards protecting life and physical safety.
Unauthorized access and malicious software
Do not create or deploy malware, ransomware, credential theft, phishing, botnets, destructive payloads or tools intended for unauthorized access, surveillance, data exfiltration or disruption. Do not defeat authentication, payment, rate-limit or safety controls. Security research must stay within systems you own or are explicitly authorized to test and within that authorization. Report suspected Licuse vulnerabilities privately; do not access other users’ data to demonstrate an issue.
People, privacy and prohibited content
Do not exploit or sexualize children, create non-consensual intimate material, engage in stalking, doxxing, harassment or discriminatory abuse, or generate deceptive impersonations. Do not use our AI features to produce deepfakes, face swaps, adult sexual content or deceptive voice impersonations. Do not use someone’s likeness without the required permission.
Do not use Licuse to make or automate consequential eligibility decisions about people in employment, education, housing, credit, insurance, healthcare, criminal justice or similar sensitive settings. Do not conduct unlawful surveillance or prohibited profiling. Ordinary authorized software work must still respect privacy, equality and applicable AI laws.
Fraud, rights and lawful access
Do not commit fraud, forge identities or evidence, violate intellectual-property rights, distribute stolen secrets, run scams or deceptive mass communications, facilitate illegal marketplaces, evade sanctions/export controls or misrepresent AI output as verified professional advice. Do not resell access to our service without authorization or abuse trials, credits, refunds or subscriptions.
Additional service restrictions
Do not use our services for unsolicited bulk outreach, fake reviews, cheating services, paywall circumvention, selling personal data or unauthorized third-party content downloads. Do not offer medical or financial advice through Licuse AI or build personal-data exposure services with it.
Licuse accounts and connected AI services are for adults aged 18 and over. Where a purchase is made through Polar, its Acceptable Use Policy also applies to that payment service. It does not replace your AI provider’s rules.
Human review and enforcement
Review AI output and tool actions, keep backups, use the least access necessary and do not submit data you are not entitled to process. Provider restrictions may impose additional conditions on the model you select.
We may investigate reports using information lawfully available to us, restrict relevant features or suspend accounts proportionately, and comply with lawful requests from authorities. We do not claim to inspect every prompt or remotely monitor every local file. These contractual restrictions are not a guarantee that every prohibited request will be technically blocked.
Report misuse, a security issue or an incorrect restriction to hello@licuse.com. Include a description and relevant non-sensitive evidence; do not send passwords, API keys or harmful files. You may request a human review of an account restriction.
